Upgrade your kayak with these custom-designed Front and Back Support plates that are specifically made to fit the Hobie Pro Angler 12 Vantage ST Seat 2016/2023 MR180/MR360. Unlike other brands, these are designed to fit the curves and recesses of the hull for the best possible fit. The front plates were carefully designed to eliminate as many voids that occur when using flat plates and transfer the load more evenly to the hull. These plates are 100% solid and manufactured using PTEG, a material that is salt water resistant. They are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade and come with the necessary stainless steel hardware.

In the majority of cases, users will be able to drop the plates into place without any modification. However, due to the mentioned inconsistencies, it is possible that a minor amount of reshaping may be needed. This can be done very easily by heating up the back plate just enough to make it malleable, and then simply pressing it into position until it cools.
